Letter from Emma

Dear Families,
As a parent of four children who all experienced newborn jaundice, I understand how overwhelming those early days can be. Our babies had a type of jaundice related to ABO incompatibility and were Coombs positive - this meant higher bilirubin levels and longer treatment for us, although that's not always the case.
In the beginning, we didn't know home phototherapy was even an option. One of our daughters had to be re-hospitalized just days after birth for intensive light therapy. It was stressful and isolating - for her, for me, and for our whole family. I couldn't nurse her freely, and she spent hours under bright lights, eyes covered, away from our care.
By the time our third baby was born, we'd learned about bili blankets - portable phototherapy devices that allow babies to be treated for jaundice at home, under the care of their pediatrician. It changed everything. We avoided another hospital stay, kept our baby close, and still gave him the care he needed. Our last baby used a biliblanket right from the start and we were so much less stressed.
Because of our experience, I'm deeply committed to helping other families find support, clarity, and access to at-home jaundice treatment. I hope we can help you avoid unnecessary hospital stays and focus on what matters most: caring for your baby in the comfort of your own home.
Whether you're looking for a biliblanket, a hospital-grade breast pump, lactation support from an RN or IBCLC, or recovery care after a c-section - we're here to support you on your journey with your baby.
Emma
