About Emma

Emma

Emma lives and works in Boulder, CO.  She is passionate about keeping newborns at home with their families based on her own experience with all four of her kids requiring phototherapy for jaundice. As she points out, “I know how important that initial bonding period is and the business is built on my desire to help families stay together and out of the hospital.”

She obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology and French and Russian Languages at the University of Colorado-Boulder.  She was granted her master’s and doctoral degrees from the Psychology Department at The University of Illinois-Chicago in Community and Prevention Research.  Her professional focus is working with new families and medical professionals to promote bonding, protect breastfeeding relationships, and provide excellent support during a very stressful time.

Outside of work Emma can be found working out with friends, enjoying time with her extended family, and watching her kids play sports in gyms and field across the state.  She also enjoys attending live music performances and professional sporting events. Although her heart will always be in her birthplace of Evanston, IL, she loves the weather and scenery in Boulder, CO as well and feels extremely lucky to be living in such a great community!

About Evelyn

Evelyn

My name is Evelyn Costigan and I am the Operations Manager at Bili Blanket Baby. I grew up in Chicago, but have loved living in Colorado the past five years. I graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2022 with a major in Psychology, a minor in Business, and a certificate in Care, Health, and Resilience. When I'm not at the office I enjoy exploring beautiful Colorado with my friends. At Bili Blanket Baby, I complete office management tasks such as processing orders, managing inventory, insurance billing, and training new staff. My favorite part is getting to speak with all of our doctors and parents so families get to take their newborn home! I am so happy to work at a place that is devoted to the wellbeing of parents and their newborns to make sure they can stay together at home during crucial bonding times.
